It is no secret that I am completely obsessed with magazines. So one of the most fun things for me to do as a wedding planner is to dream up wedding inspiration and then have it featured in Atlanta's top wedding magazine, The Celebration Society Weddings!

After chatting with my friend Katie Loyd of Boukates Fresh Floral Design about bright and preppy wedding ideas, I found myself slurping oysters at one of my favorite restaurants, The Optimist, and suddenly inspiration struck! So, we gathered up some of our most talented friends, and dreamed up a colorful summery wedding set against the nautical backdrop of the West Side's beloved beachy spot for land-locked Atlantans.

One of the best parts of planning weddings is getting to know the couples we work with and their families. We tend to get really attached to our clients, and often feel like we are part of the family by the end of the wedding. We loved working with Mollie & Jonathan, and this wedding is a great example of that!

With pops of bright pink alongside their preppy wedding details, Mollie & Jonathan brought a modern twist to this classic venue and infused every part of the day with their vibrant personalities. From personalized Converse kicks to springtime signature drinks to homemade hot sauce favors, these two had their guests happily surprised around every corner.

Their laid back personalities and love for each other truly made for such a great day. And the evening ended with some seriously great moves on the dance floor!
